My 65 Beetle's wheelbolts would seize (not rust) after tightening (not overtightening). To the extent that on one occasion the generic Canadian-made crossbrace that I was using twisted so that the numbers stamped into one of the shafts started on one side and finished on the other!

I then used CopperKote on the faces and never had the problem again, nor any loosening.

CopperKote is wunnerful stuff... use it on every thread on your vehicle; you won't regret it. No more seized or rusted-on items. Oh, it's a light grease with copper flakes... so don't eat it.
