The big boys, those class A mo-hoes, they use two rods, one from each side
of the towed unit.  You can get the fiberglass rods with orange flags on
them at Oregon motorcycle shops or online at any off-road site.  I think
both Oregon and California require off road equipment to display those flags
at their OHV parks and their state-run dune areas.
