I didn't try to pick apart the ad but that certainly brings back memories of my old bus. Just like this one but mine was battleship gray and had south african opening windshields. Also a 36hp motor rather than the 40hp in a 61...which I recall was not known as a 'good year' for the old spitties.. If you are looking for a good driver, these are good...great traction and not as slow as a diesel vanagon but still pretty slow with a load aboard. Dependable motor, good mpg..simple and smaller than a vanagon..much lighter too. Don Hanson
