good point on the filler tube thing.
I'd be careful there.
the right tool is a 24 mm Tubing Nut Wrench.
Sometimes they are so tight, that an open end or crescent wrench won't work.

in general, be careful with that fitting there.  If it's hyper tight
..........you don't want to round off the nut, or damage the pan where the
fitting the tube screws into the pan.
the filler tube is attached at the top too - one 10 mm screw up there.

Just get some silicone or gasket glue for the pan, and make sure the gasket
is on straight, or you might be adding tranny oil and cleaning leaks all the
time (just like I was). The filter is a remove and replace deal, nothing
hard at all. To remove the filling tube you need a 24mm open wrench, and do
not overtighten the pan bolts. I replaces mine with Allen head bolts, easier
for me to work with while lying on my back. have fun.
