Welp, I will admit that I ended up having a great time in Ontario instead of Newfoundland. Especially my stay around Georgian Bay at the very very nice Cape Croker campground. I also ended up hitting around a dozen used book stores, and picked up a lot of classic sci fi in hardback editions. Of course, the last time I was hoping to pick up my canoe on the way. It didn't actually get done for a couple more months after that (it's a beautiful cedar strip canoe.) I still need to get some other sort of extra storage for my Westy however, as my old storage is too big to allow the canoe up on top of the Westy at the same time. I'm also trying to figure out how best to accommodate my wind turbine mast (too many toys!) in transit.
