I presume you're talking about the single-switch arrangement, and the screw you're talking about is (used to be?) a small hex socket protruding upward. I'm sorry to tell you that's not a screw, it's part of the cam and it's made of aluminum. Unfortunately VW also made the plate it passes through out of aluminum, so the two parts corrode together at the hole and there goes the aluminum hex, it can't stand up to the steel hex key. I know Ken Wilford carries these assemblies. Yours, David |
