So I was looking to adjust the TPS recently and noticed that last year in Brooklyn I asked that my local mechainic told me he adjusted it when I told him the idle was way off. I was told they did adjust the TPS. Van ran fine. Now after the rebuild of the engine and examining it, I realize that they damaged the adjusting screw. It is totally mangled and not usable any longer. Has anyone or does anyone know how to fix this? If I pull it out what size and type of screw is it? Isn't a hex screw? TIA. Robert NY |
