Hi;

I'm working on an 84 cluster with analog clock that has foil damage resulting in non working instrument lights. After attempting to solder the broken foil traces back together I have turned to beer. I wonder about abandoning the foil and running a switched wire circuit to the instrument lights. Anyone done this?
