As far as I know, there are no campers in South Africa. I have lived there for twenty years, now I visit there ever few years but I have never seen a Vanagon camper there. I have seen VW motorhomes though that has the over-the-cab box on it, wider than the front on both sides and it looks like a small motorhome. That's not our beloved Westfalias. If there is any, it must be imported. FYI, that country manufactures all the cars they use, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Fiat, Renault, etc. They also export them to Japan, Australia, other African countries, India, and other right hand drive countries. You would be surprised to find out how many right hand drive countries there are in the world. Zoltan

My nephew has been accepted as a professor and is moving to South Africa.

We want to find a Caravelle Camper for him there. Preferably a Syncro.

Any suggestions as to where to look to buy?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
