Sold my 90 Bordeaux red Multivan tonight to a very nice guy who will be using it as intended. Traveling and camping.  I wish him all the luck; he just touched down in the US after working abroad for the summer and he's going straight from Green Bay to Waterloo Iowa tonight.  
I had just about given up selling it and had started putting together a 3 month plan to get back on top of Vanagon preventative maintenance.
Thought I'd be happy getting my asking price.  Not really. The kids won't talk to me, wife cried and dog growled at me. We had it since April,2002. We recently bought a small camper and weren't using the Vanagon except for commuting and groceries.
