I don't see how ANY Corolla could qualify. I looked up the '93 Corolla on fueleconomy.gov. New mpg ratings for the sedan run (city) around 24-26 mpg, highway 31 mpg (depending on transmission, there are 4 and 5 manuals, and a couple different auto types). For the station wagon, whether manual or automatic, it is 23/30. To qualify, a vehicle must get under 18 mpg combined city/highway. '93 Corolla doesn't qualify. Did not look up any others, but I drove a '76 Corolla Lift Back from new for fifteen years, 298K miles. It got about 27 city/35 highway. Dave Mc
