dear shiper thanks loren .. that is exactly what happens ups will double dip as both shipper and customs broker ... mail can also be a hassle ... i would suggest that if both are in towns serviced by bus that one ship via bus and mark claerly on the package that contents are obsolete used Vanagon parts or hang on to parts until buyer rolls through town ... the problem with shipping cross border is that any perceived savings on price point will be lost in customs excise charges ... unless the part is difficult to find ... it may not be worth it ... yours
