These are NLA unless I am mistaken.
I hate to brag, so I'll force myself. We're fixing up my daughter's Westy after a crash mangled the front end. I know the low beam vertical adjust is NLA. I went to my mechanic (for 25 years) to ask about finding the part. He threw me his box of miscellaneous VW adjusters. "Take this and see what you can find". So I took it home and found two new vertical adjusters. I asked what he wanted for them and he said, "Don't worry about it". Then I said I would take both and pay him well and he said, "Don't worry about it". While on the subject, the front sheet metal pieces are also NLA. I had to buy a whole "front clip" (from the front doors forward) and deliver it to the body shop to get the van fixed. Oh, Auto Body Excellence in Hillsboro, Oregon is a fine shop that does great work, knows Vanagons and doesn't mind doing "complete" paint jobs. Tom Salicos '87 Syncro Westy EG-33 |
