Aren't you glad you didn't have the means to blind the cop? Or the redneck
with an assault rifle?
Old friend of mine (also known for his yarns) told me he had installed
landing lights as headlights on an old car he had. He said he went to a
parking lot to aim them and they both exploded. Turns out they need the
200mph wind of flight to keep them cool.

The guy tailgating me yesterday at 645 am on US 101 in southwestern WA was a
cop, although I did not know it until he passed when I pulled over partially
off the road to let the blankety-blank by. Why didn't he just put on his
emerg. lights if he wanted by that badly?
Reminded me of a story told to me by an old boss who said he had a friend
that mounted an airplane landing light on top of his old VW bug to activate
when an oncoming driver would not dim. Said it dimmed all the other lights
in the VW. Don't know if it was BS or not, but he could tell a good story
and just remembering it made me laugh again.
