Well, I learned about bad fuel lines a little too late to save my 1990 Westy Multivan. Stopped at a light and it stalld out. I sat there cranking the engine, glance in the rear view mirror to see smoke billowing out the back. Got out and flames were licking out of the back below the engine compartment. Ran to the store I was stopped in front of, the clerk handed me a fire extinguiser and told me he had already called 911. By the time I got back to the van I couldn't get nearer than 15 ft because of the heat. I stood there and watched it burn. That's why I now drive an '87.
