Subject: SF CV Joint? Update
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed; delsp=yes

Greased and retorqued the clackety CV joint while at our camping spot. I carry a torque wrench and CV lube with the rest of my tools and spares. And the triple square 12mm key for the axle bolts.

She's perfectly quiet now, and we're almost to SF.

My question to the mechanical experts is: do I need to dissassemble and rebuild the CV while here in SF, or can it wait until the 750 mile return to Seattle?

Thanks!
