Have you checked to see if the wire going from ignition switch to the
starter solenoid is connected? If connected, disconnect it and ck for
voltage while someone cranks it.
Have you checked your battery? Maybe it's not charged. Try to jump
start it.....if you recently changed out a known bad alternator, the
battery may be your problem.......you may be barking up the wrong
tree.

> Thanks for your replies. I was able to change out the ignition switch quite easily. Only one problem...it still won't start. I can pop the clutch to start it but the starter will not engage, not even a click. I'm sure I had a bad switch before, because it would start for a while when I jiggled the key. I did manage to solve the alt light problem. I swapped the alternator with a good one from an old engine. It seems to me that all these problems should be related but I'm not making the connection (pun intended). Any advice? :)

(Alt/Ox light flickering on and off, stalling, Temp warning light comes on when engine is still cold). Well it turns out that I do have a bad ignition switch. It now only starts if I wiggle the key if it starts at all. Does anyone have any good instruction on how to change out an ignition switch? Am I even right in assuming that these problems are related? It wansn't long after the ignition switch started acting up that the Alt/Ox lights began staing on constantly.
