Once in the Mannistee Nat'l Forest - 2nd day of two-tracking, it began to
rain shorty after breakfast. 4 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs. We sat under the
Shadyboy in a soft rain (most of the day. Had a nice little fire that kept
going in the rain, smoke going the other way. Had a nice Monopoly game,
beers, lunch. Kids played cards in the bus, parents sat out under the
awning. Have not been able to repeat that as our kids moved into the
teenage years, the rain made it really difficult to keep them interested.
