I have one of those EZ-up canopies. A cheap-o one I got on sale at a BuyMart or somewhere. It ain't 'quality' but for the money, it keeps off the rain and I can just toss it in and out of the van when I go on a rainy campout. If it gets wrecked in a wind storm..no big loss. It doesn't have to be well cared for...I often never even have to erect it, so I just shove it under my van. Seems a better option than having a fancy permanent awning. It is nice to have a dry area outside for bicycle maintence or chairs. You can also put it over the rear or move it around while it's fully deployed...with two people. Handy Don Hanson |
