A good canopy is a must, and entering through the passenger door & leaving the wet/muddy shoes/boots on the rubber mat keeps the mess contained and is easy to clean. I am fortunate to have the ASI conversion, which has the vinyl tent, and I can pop it inside my garage and run a small space heater to dry it out thoroughly, thus avoiding any mold or mildew. I find the best times to camp in Oregon are between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Less crowding, choice of spots, and I do love to hike in the rain (suitably attired, of course). If you haven't purchased waterproof outdoor gear yet, do it now (or be prepared to stay indoors between Labor Day & Memorial Day). I have camping reservations again December 11-13 for Silver Falls State Park; last year I had to put the snow chains on to get out of there, but it was so worth it. It was like walking in a Winter Wonderland!

than let them sink to lower levels of rebirth.
