Fellow VWer told me he pays $50 for 3 years license fees and no safety
inspection(no smog required for anyone in TX as of today) at all for his 72
Ghia.  He stated that 1984 and older qualifies but you have to ask for it.
Certain limitations on driving, but not strictly enforced.  I haven't
researched this yet, but will.  Anyone else have this status on their van?
