Bill did my tranny several years back. All happiness on my end. Reasonable price and pretty quick, too.

Bill does custom trannies for dune buggies, with reinforcement welding of the cases and all sorts of neat tricks, so he know his way around a Vanagon tranny.

He also put in a taller 4th hear for me for a few extra bux (don't recall how many). If I do it again, I'm shelling our the extra for a limited slip diff.
