The injector signal sent from the ECU is more weighted towards RPM, AFM position and coolant temp. O2 is just a tweak, and I'm not sure the O2sensor/ECU responds fast enough to influence the mixture through transient response like acceleration.

The injectors are controlled by the ECU based on O2 so I'm guessing that variations in flow rate -- within reasonable limits -- would be something the ECU would be able to compensate for.

Full open throttle is a different story, I betcha.

My guesses only, I expect enlightenment from those who know these things.
