I have an '84 Westy and was wondering about upgrades, when would it
be better to just buy a later model Westy?


I'd like to put power steering in (my wife really doesn't like to
drive it as is), I want to put the instrument cluster with the tach
and digital clock in, I'd like seats with built in arm rests (I'd
like the Eurovan full down option for the passenger seat).
A back wiper would be nice but it's not that important.
If I'm going to put in a PS rack I ought to find spindle/brakes from
a later model too.


What I'd really like is a 'back' window that opens...


Just pondering upgrades
