if seeking opinions on if the 90 GL trans is in need or serious repair etc..... saying what the miles are on it would help.

if it has say, only 80 K on it..........then hoping that it doesn't need a real rebuilt is 'reasonable' let's say.

if it has 175K on it ...... you know ? it would be due for a rebuild then. I suspect it's closer to the later scenario than the former. But The More Information That Is Included, The Better People Are Able To Help And Offer Useful Input.

yeah, I'd try MT-90 in it first. But before that ........ inspect the magnetic drain plug ! that's a diagnostic feature in case people don't realize it.

like if you find a TON of metal on it, that , that tells you something.
