When I first bought them, I was getting the tiny bulbs and trying to
install them in the holders as I expected to be a VW specialty. On one
trip, the parts guy asked me if I didn't want them in the socket. Felt
dumb! but you can own a vanagon for about fifteen years without having
to replace one.
