Here in Iowa City, we get a lot of tailgaters for the football games who have a wide variety of TV setups - most mounted on the car/suv that they drove in. A lot of people have the tripod setups but I have noticed a lot of people have trouble locating the position to set the dish to in order to receive signal. Two options I think are easy/hassle free are below. More expensive - can use while moving the vehicle http://www.adventurerv.net/king-dome-inmotion-satellite-high-definition-9754-p-13642.html more practical I think http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/tv-antennas/vuqube.htm I don't know much about your specific questions but hopefully this will be a good start for you.
