Yep, no Vanagon issues at all though my son's Jeep Cherokee developed a crack in a plastic "X" fitting where four coolant hoses come together, but it's a FLAPS part, not an infamous Vanagon "H" fitting kinda part.

We spent most of the time talking about important issues. Like music. And how best to survive the coming zombie apocalypse. We decided that gasoline powered vehicles would be pretty useless without working gas stations, while oil from deep-fat fryers at abandoned fast-food joints could be used pretty easily to fuel Diesel vehicles. However, gas engines start faster for quick getaways when zombies attack. So one has to be more alert.

A photo on my blog of camp, with graphic Vanagon, Westfalia, and Westrailia content:

Had a bit of green coated ripstop nylon tarp roped over the Shady Boy awning to bridge the gap between the awning and the rain gutter. I like to sit in the opened slider door and rain drops falling through that gap make the spot uninhabitable. But it never rained.
