Good to know. I made sure to use a drift (my fancy nail) that was smaller than the hole at business end of the plug.

If I ever tackle another engine swap using an older harness, I'll be getting or making the right tool for removing the wires. i.e. on my '93 harness, there were quite a few wires with cracked casings at the plugs. (and elsewhere).
