Hi.I'm having a rough time deciding where to put my amp in the Westy. It's driving me crazy!I have a large amp 75W x 4, about 13"x10"x2". I secured it to the top of the box for the rear heater under the bench seat. Then I ran into problems trying to keep the amp power line and the signal line from getting close to each other so as to avoid any noise. I was thinking under the driver's seat, but I'm worried about the heat buildup. Does it really matter if the power and signal lines get close if the signal lines are shielded? The only option seems to be to run them behind the cabinetry. I don't want to spend lots of cash on wiring to the back if it's not going to work.Any ideas you could give me would be much appreciated.
