there is such a tool as a battery clamp puller. a little two jaw hook type puller. any FLAPS

it's a real struggle. I'm real gentle on stuff, but I don't mind bending some of the metal back a bit ..... they were super dumb not to have an eighth or quarter inch more room in there.

last one I got out that was a bitch .....I had the battery tilted up drastically on one end - the end toward the side of the van I think.

I can't get it out. And the battery won't come out either. I don't want to force anything too much. I'm sure, there is a trick to it. Anyone knows this simple thing? It is a Westfalia. Z
