Well, I said "warranty," and what he said was "replacement period." Very likely has a longer warranty, and I was incorrect in my assessment.

Battery warranties are generally transferable, I believe. At least, when I had a battery I bought from Pep Boys go bad some years ago, the store I took it to (not the store where I bought it, as I'd moved 800 miles away) simply went by the label on the battery as to the warranty period and purchase date, and prorated the time left and price. Similar labels are used on batteries by other sellers. But, I keep receipts for warranted items until they are out of warranty, so could have supplied it if asked. I wasn't. Dave Mc
