Who was it suggested acetone? Acetone and a paint scraped took the melted white rubber bumper slime right off the heat shield/dish drainer. Didn't touch the residue of the adhesive that originally held the three bumpers in place on the countertop underside. Goof Be-gone (or Goo Gone or whatever that yellow stuff is called) took care of those.

The moral of the story is, of course, a fellow can't have too many solvents on hand.

It was a worthwhile in-camp project. I made sure that I had no ventilation and plenty of open flames while working with the acetone.
