Search the vanagon list archives for trip reports of a long trip my wife and I took back in 1995 that circumnavigated most of Mexico.  I posted weekly installments using a subject line beginning with "Big Trip Report".  Also, searching list messages for "Tobin" during Jan-Mar 1995 will turn up some additional chatter from list members who had encountered us along the way (we were epic listee driveway campers--that is, mooches--as well).

I plan on playing around in Baha in Dec.  then take ferry accross from La
Paz in Jan and head for Costa Rica.
