On topic of steel keys.  If you have the key code for the key.  (can be
found on the door locking mechanism)  a REAL locksmith can 'punch' a steel
key for you if you have the blanks.  Most pseudo locksmiths decline to 'cut'
steel keys as it munges up their cutting device.


Steve-the-vanagon-locksmith fellow can punch the keys and send em to you for
his usual inexpensive charge.


If not then Edward's kind offer will do quite handily to get the raw
materials.
