I looked at my spare, and the fuel gauge is different than the other
one I have - so there were at least 2 gauges:

I think that I swapped them when I put in the tach, so the original
from the '81 should be on the left, and the one from the later cluster
on the right.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
