Keep in mind that making things more snug this way eventually leads to the
connector failing. The metal can only take being manipulated so many times.
I had a couple connectors in my van fail this way most pain in the butt ones
are the grounds under
the dash going to the round connector ring. Those on my 87 that are still
clean and
not showing being corroded at all. Well,they broke when I squeezed them
lightly to
hold onto the ground ring better. There is no slack in any of these wires
either. Some
already barely make it there. The ones that had two wires in one connector
ended up
being two seperate wires now.
