The only caveat is it has to go back to the builder first to have the rear main replaced. I tried to get him to send me the seal but he wants see exactly where the seal failed. He used to be Boston Bobs only employee for I think 15 years. He even trained under the same factory vw tech Bob did. I am honestly taking a 1,000 hit on selling this motor. I even debated just filling the cylinders with oil and storing it in case I buy another van. I just really really hate the miles of hoses these motors have and that parts like throttle switches have become NLA. I know that someone will figure out how to replace these parts like Terry K did with the hose that goes over from the thermostat housing over the transmission eventually. Plus, I enjoy playing with conversions as I have had a subie,a tiico, and now will have a Zetec.
