Yep, added BBTB to the trip and it's up > to 25 hrs driving. BBTB is worth that kind of drive. For that kind of a drive I expect strippers, at the very least. I have driven the length of Cali more times than I care to think about and it's ugly any way you go about it. I-5, I-395 (a tad better), I-99. Grim, very grim. I'll have to wait until I'm retired and start slipping into "sunbird" mode before a drive like this sounds like a fun time. Right now the prospect of shoveling snow off the sidewalk (a few times a month) and hoicking firewood sounds like the kind of exercise I need to feel like an independent and useful man after six months of crutching, bed, wheelchairing, knee rollering, caning, and other forms of gimping around. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.)
