Thanks, we just found that "lost" footage lately... i felt nostalgic when i saw it, why not share it. Well, you said it yourself, i work hard in summer/spring/fall time for that reason! To get away, see the road (and all know that I HATE winter!). But it's hard to leave for such a long period when you have stuff to take care at home, i had the apartment, Sylvie kid, family and the shop. On top, they all cost big money and none ($$) is coming in when travelling, but with a lot of preparation anything is possible. We where suppose to be more than 40 vans on that trip, just before we left, only 1 where able to make it, but 50 tried hard. Money was tight but the spirit was high! On my web site I encourage people to do their own mechanic, to learn about their van, but I also encourage them to travel and you the darn thing! Men, life is so short, it's trip like that that keep me going. Ben >Hey, Ben, I enjoyed the whole film. If it wasn't for stuff like this I >would never get to go anywhere. The first video title says May2009, >though. Question: How do you arrange your time to afford 2.5 months on >vacation? Sometimes you sound(online) a little wound up and overworked, but >I can't see how when you get to take trips like this. Wish I was able to >take a trip like that, but gotta pay the bills. Keep em coming. >Michael in San Antonio >91GL AT 'Gringo' >73 Beetle > |
