Ditto on the double relay as a possible cause. The California version is different than the non-Ca one I think.

the grounds that I've seen under the plenum are just spade push-on ones, that get weak eventually. I convert those to screw and eye connections.

if it is really just a case of no ignition .... and it has the Ca electronic ignition ..... igniter perhaps. If forget if they have the idle statbization thing. And ........there is one ( white probably ) wire that goes from the igntion to the ecu. If the ecu does not 'see' the igntion pulses on that wire .......it won't run. That is the only wire that links ecu and the electronic igntion. hope this is of some help. Scott www.turbovans.com
