Bob,

Don't use the grounds. Rather, run 12 ga. Wire back to the negative post on the battery.

Karl WolzOn mine it's the 9004 plug. They sell them at FLAPS for about $4-5. I keep 2 in the parts box in the van. I seem to go through them about every year or 2. Even have relays but the 80/100W bulbs must work over the grounds or something. I replaced the grounds to be sure to minimize the resistance so the plugs wouldn't have to absorb that, but it still happens periodically.
