I have always not been very fond of WD 40 in its ability to break rusted nuts or bolts free. I have found it to be great for drying out wires or engine stuff that got wet. I don't know if more displaces the water than dries it but it works. Plus my wife uses it to remove Crayon off the picnic tables at the cider mill. Every year kids end up writing and drawing on them. I used this tip and it took the crayon off of our cabinet door in our Westy. One of my kids this past summer decided to write Hi Dad with a yellow crayon. None of them would admit to it as usual...
