There are two versions of the chrome hubcaps that look nearly identical. The
ones designed to fit 71-79 Buses are deeper than Beetle ones and will clear
the wheel hub.  Here are the ones that will fit:

They are actually not aftermarket, they are VW/South Africa rather than
