For the sake of this discussion (which should probably be saved for Friday), my intent of "to" was the same as Ken's "with", but your point is well taken, as it should be by all.

Notice that Ken said "talk with" and you interpreted it as "talk to." I think "talk with" is code for "listen".... ;-)
