Thanks Mark - I appreciate the response. I figured e-mail would be a tough way to go about this but was hoping for some suggestions like yours to at least point me in some direction.

Yes this is indeed on the '90 but the wiring harness is from an '86 if that matters (however all FI and wiring are the same as what was in there with the original engine). When I looked closely at those relays they were indeed exactly the same - I do not recall the numbers on them at the moment but they were identical.

When the engine was out I did clean and remount the grounds you speak of - maybe I didn't do as good a job as I thought - I will revisit that.
