Volks, below is a message I received last evening  about a Vanagon 
Westfalia stolen in Quebec City.  It is  a 1983,  stolen during the night of Sunday 
~ Monday, September 20 ~ 21.  It was  stolen from a garage, Centre de l'auto 
Concept 3, La Canardière Road where it  was waiting for tune-up work.  
Owner is Claude Bernard, member 274 of  the _Quebec Westfalia Club_ 
(http://www.westfalia.qc.ca/) .   Claude bought this van new and has owned it for 26 
years.  It is considered  a collection piece and is in original condition and 
colour, caramel brown with  110,000 km on the clock and manual transmission.

Le membre no 274, Claude Bernard de Québec s'est fait voler sonwestfalia  
1983 dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi (du 20 au 21 sept.). 
Son westfalia était au garage Centre de l'auto Concept 3, sur lechemin de 
La  Canardière à Québec pour une mise au point pour l'automne.Lundi matin, 
Claude a  eu la mauvais nouvelle d'apprendre que son westavait été volé. 
Claude, possédait un westfalia 1983 qu'il avait acheté neuf, il y a26 ans.  
Pièce de collection à l'état original, de couleur brun caramelayant 110 000 
km  et de transmission manuelle. 
Lors de l'enquête les policiers lui ont conseillé de mettre sur le site du  
Club un message.
