Hi Tim,

That sounds fine. I think the manufacturer is being cautious. near as I can tell, the Norcold does not have any kind of extra-sensitive electronics in it -- and I can tell you that I have all kind of bizarre systems hooked to the line that fed that Norcold ("that Norcold" as in, my Norcold is now in your hands and I've got that Vitrifrigo to install), and the Norcold was not troubled.

If the wire from the battery to the Norcold is nice and fat, then there's no reason why you can't hook an inverter or other electrical appliances to the same wire -- BUT it's but better to try to hook heavy loads directly to the battery directly rather than share them off the same wire that feeds other gadgets, too. FYI, the Norcold is not a heavy load at under 3 amps, so even decent wire will feed it just fine, if you want to run a dedicated line to it.
