I've got a BA6 (20K btu/hr, but 8A draw), but a good double sleeping
bag is the real ticket (almost zero incremental cost, no battery
worries). The heater only gets turned on when I wake up.

For pre-bed playing cards, a bottle of rum works great. :-)
