Bill, are you sure you got a 5/16" fitting? That is actually the non-std size for the US. I usually supply 1/4" and 3/8". The Westfalia tubing is 3/8". With the four-way fitting kit (NPT), I would have supplied either a 3/8" or 1/4" NPT ell for the tubing connection for the heater, so threading that into the 4-way will show which is the correct one; if there is another 90-degree ell that I supplied, it will be for the heater.
